Kareem AbdulJabbar is one of the greatest players in the history of the National Basketball Association. He is the 2nd all-time scorer in the league with 38,387 career points, and the alltime leader in blocks with 3,189. He won six NBA titles, and two MVP awards, and was an AllStar selection a record nineteen times.

Kareem AbdulJabbar began his college career at UCLA and quickly established himself as one of the best players in the country. He led the Bruins to three national championships and was twice named college player of the year. His college career was so successful that he went on to be the first overall pick in the 1969 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks.

In his first season in the NBA, Kareem AbdulJabbar won the Rookie of the Year award and the Bucks won their first-ever NBA championship. He was also named league MVP for the first time in his career. During his time with the Bucks, Kareem was part of two championship teams and continued to be one of the league‘s best players.

In 1975, he joined the Los Angeles Lakers and started a historic run with the team. With the Lakers, Kareem AbdulJabbar went on to win five NBA championships and two MVP awards and was selected to the AllStar team fifteen more times. He was also the league‘s alltime leading scorer during his time with the Lakers. Kareem‘s career with the Lakers was so successful that he was honored by the team in 2016 with a statue outside the Staples Center.

Kareem AbdulJabbar‘s career is remembered as one of the greatest in NBA history. He was a dominant force on both ends of the court and helped revolutionize the center position. His impact on the game is still felt today, with his signature skyhook shot being used by many of today‘s top players. His legacy as one of the best players ever will remain for generations to come.
